Cavs select...

Eyeng?

The Cavs were content with trading for Shaq last night and stayed put with the 30th pick in the NBA draft, selecting this project player from Congo. The good news is Cleveland can stash him over in Europe for a few years while he develops and don't have to pay him. The Cavs want as much money as possible to spend on next year's big free agency.

NBA Draft

The NBA Draft is Thursday June 25th at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The Cavaliers currently own the 30th pick, which is the last pick in the first round. This pick is highly unlikely to join the rotation immediately.

But the Cavaliers have been in rumors about moving up for a pick. As many teams looks to save money during these times, another team could sell their pick to the Cavs for up to $3 million in cash. The Cavaliers could make this offer even prettier by throwing in Kinsey, who has a $1 million salary next year in mostly non-guaranteed money.

The Cavs are rumored to be interested in Lawson and Clark, both predicted to be drafted in the middle of the first round.
